Amy's Wedding Dress was photographed in Florida over the Memorial Day holiday. She truly was a beautiful bride in every sense. Mr. and Mrs. Kimberly were married in an outdoor wedding. This image is Sepia toned because the available light emulating from the window adds that old fashion feeling.

Our Little Princess
Here is our little princess Wendy. She loves having her picture taken and does she know how to pose or what. This image was captured at the Titusville Marina in Florida's Central East Coast.
Sunset City
Sunset over the Indian River in Titusville, Florida. We finally found a home on the river can't wait to take sunrise pictures as they are as spectacular as sunsets here in Central Florida.

Angel in Waiting
This image of a little angel sleeping was taken in the studio and then I painted it in painter IX. I thought it might look better as a black and white but decided to keep the color because of the rose tones in her face.

Chess of Glass
I photographed this chess set using a large format camera for my studio class. It not only represents opposites of the King and Queen but from frosted and clear glass. The black and white is only coincidence but it adds another opposite attraction. I kept the plane of focus in the very front allowing the depth of field to fall off towards the background and cropped in as tight as I could.

This black and white digital image was taken today
at the park with Christopher and his duck Howard.
It was such a tender moment when Christopher gave
Howard a kiss and a hug.

Union Station
This image of Union Station, Denver, Colorado was captured digitally using my 35mmSLR. I used an alternative process called Cyanotype in which I applied the emulsion selectively and then exposed the image to UV light for about 18 minutes. It is on display at the Turnverein Culture Center until May 15, 2010.Wednesday, April 28, 2010
Rojas Tulipa
The red tulips photographed in this image were placed on my light table. I used a bounce card for a little fill light and positioned my camera from above. I was hoping for a little more transparent feel from the tulip but was happy with this result. I love flowers any time of the year and tulips are one of those flowers that arrive in spring for such a short time. Even though I don't usually photograph flowers this was an experiment in lighting.Tuesday, April 27, 2010
A DucK Out of Water
This image was taken in Ft. Worth, Texas at the botanical gardens. I painted the water in Corel Painter IX, something I like to do from time to time. I am feeling a little like a duck out of water. We have had an offer on our home-an insulting offer so back to showing it again today.

My Very First Post

This is my very first post on my very first blog. Now that I have figured out how things go I have a great fear that I am all alone out here. What I mean is, what if no one thinks my blog is worth blogging? What if no one ever enters my blog, what if I don't ever get one viewer. This would be the worst thing that could ever happen to a blogger - to never get blogged. What if my children or husband never lift a finger to my blog? I'm beginning to think this wasn't such a good idea.Well since I went through all this work to put my work out on the whole world wide web I should at least give it a take, so here it is world, I'M ALL YOURS!
